Ochoco Lumber Mill Redevelopment

Project Details

Group Mackenzie provided strategic development planning and master planning services for this 76-acre former mill site in Prineville, Oregon. After a preliminary investigation effort, Group Mackenzie prepared a multi-step strategy to redevelop the mill site into a vibrant, mixed use development. These steps will include annexation into the city, urban renewal and development agreements, rezoning, infrastructure and transportation improvements, financing options, and general development strategy. Efforts are currently underway for the Phase I site plan.
